OUR HISTORY
Marcos is a British sports car manufacturer founded in 1959 by Jem Marsh and Frank Costin. The name "Marcos" came from a combination of their surnames. Known for innovative wooden chassis designs and lightweight construction, the brand gained attention with its distinctive GT cars during the 1960s. Despite motorsport success and a loyal fan base, financial troubles led to multiple closures and revivals, notably in the 1970s and 1990s. Production ceased in 2007. Marcos cars are currently collector’s items, remembered for their unique engineering, sleek styling, and role in British automotive history.
