The Marcos project has been a labour of love for me after 45 years as a mechanic and engineer both in motorsport and road cars. I first saw a Marcos racing at Brands Hatch in the late 70's and I always thought they were a company that made brilliant cars and were on the side of drivers. At the time the government were clobbering the automotive industry with various taxes and Marcos were outsiders who pioneered kit racing cars that were exempt & allowed motorists to buy a brilliant but affordable sports car that you could race at the weekend. When we developed the Spirit prototype in 2012 I was absolutely thrilled that Jem Marsh supported the project and asked to be technical advisor. After we ran the car at the Prescott Hill climb Dennis Adams gave his approval and said this was the way forward. The new car will be true to the Marcos philosophy of lightweight and innovative British Performance cars

As a long time admirer of the brand, it’s a tremendous privilege to become CEO and help lead the next chapter of Marcos alongside our brilliant lead engineer, Tony Brown. Tony’s passion and persistence have kept the spirit of Marcos alive. His decades in F1, IndyCar, and sports cars give him a deep understanding of what it takes to win. The endorsement of his vision and prototype by both Jem Marsh and Dennis Adams speak volumes.

I first drove a Marcos LM500 in the early 2000s and I was hooked. The innovation from the Flying Splinter to the Mantis was remarkable, and what Jem Marsh and Frank Costin achieved was special. And of course Frank designed the first ever Formula One Championship winning chassis with his pioneering aerodynamic skills. The TSO GT, designed by Damian McTaggart under the enthusiastic leadership of Tony Stelliga in 2007, was another great car that deserved to be a success.

This time, we are doing things differently. We have built a world class team with a deep well of experience from F1, Rolls Royce, Lotus and more, and we are committed to delivering a lightweight, British built supercar that challenges the status quo.

We understand the interest in the new Marcos and we are confident you will not be disappointed. Whilst designs and innovations on the new model are a closely guarded secret (for now) we can share that subject to sign off from extensive testing and development the new car will be launched in November 2025. A rear mid-engined RWD supercar with exceptional acceleration. Weight and BHP figures remain under wraps but expect class leading performance in an unmistakably bold and lightweight Marcos package.
